Pricing Calculator

Price with a margin you choose, not a guess. Works for a product, a service or a subscription / plan, and shows your profit (and yearly price for plans).

Your price
…

Pricing by margin beats pricing by gut: decide what slice of the price you want to keep as profit, and the price follows from your cost. The formula is price = cost ÷ (1 − margin), which guarantees the margin you chose. This free calculator works whether you sell a one-off product, a service, or a subscription such as a membership or an HMO plan, and for plans it also shows the yearly price, so you can set numbers you can defend.

Frequently asked questions

How do I price a product?

Start from your true cost to make and deliver one, then choose the margin you want to keep. Price = cost ÷ (1 − margin). A $20 cost at a 60% margin sells for $50. Pricing on margin keeps you profitable even as costs change.

How is pricing a subscription different?

A subscription is priced per period, so use your cost to serve one member per month and the margin you want, then look at the monthly price and the yearly total. For plans like memberships or HMO cover, the yearly figure is what many buyers actually compare.

What margin should I aim for?

It depends on your costs and market: physical products often run lower margins than digital products or services, which can sustain 50–80%. The right margin is one that covers all your costs and the work, not just the direct cost of one unit.

Where do I sell at this price?

On Klairova you can sell products, services and subscriptions with checkout built in, so the price you set here goes straight onto something people can buy.
