Engagement Rate Calculator

Work out your true engagement rate from followers, likes and comments, and see instantly whether it counts as low, solid, high or elite.

Engagement rate
…

Engagement rate is the single number brands look at to judge whether an audience actually listens. It matters far more than follower count: a creator with 8,000 highly engaged followers often beats one with 80,000 passive ones. This free calculator gives you the same number media kits and campaign managers use.

How it works

Enter your followers

Use your current follower or subscriber count on the platform you want to measure.

2

Add your average likes and comments

Take an average across your last 6–12 posts for an accurate, representative figure.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good engagement rate?

As a rule of thumb, 1–3.5% is healthy, 3.5–6% is strong, and above 6% is elite. Smaller accounts naturally show higher rates than very large ones, so judge against accounts of a similar size.

How is engagement rate calculated?

This tool uses (likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ followers × 100. It is the most common method and the one most brands recognise. Some tools divide by reach or impressions instead, which gives a higher number.

Why does engagement rate matter more than follower count?

Followers can be bought or inflated; engagement is harder to fake. A high engagement rate signals an audience that trusts you and acts on what you post, which is exactly what brands pay for. On Klairova you can prove it further with real click-to-sale attribution.
