Le guide complet est en anglais.
Turn a manuscript into something people can actually buy. Give your book its own storefront, a browser-based reader that remembers where each reader stopped, free and paid chapters, and four ways to earn from the same title.
A finished manuscript is not yet a product.
People read on phones.
Laptops. Tablets. Whatever device happens to be in front of them. They shouldn't have to download a PDF, pinch and zoom through tiny text, or search for the page they were last reading. Imprint gives every title a browser-based reader.
A description can tell someone what your book is about.
The free chapters become part of the sales experience rather than just another product description.
Most platforms give you one obvious transaction: Buy the book. Imprint gives you more ways to monetise the same work.
One payment. Permanent access. The straightforward way to sell a finished title.
Give someone access for a defined period at a lower price. Useful for readers who want the book but don't need permanent access.
One title can therefore serve different readers with different budgets and different buying preferences.
Not everyone who wants to read your book is ready to buy it outright.
A rental gives them another option. For example:
₦6,500 Permanent access
A reader reaches the end.
Reader tips give people a way to voluntarily pay more after they've already received the thing they paid for. It's a different kind of transaction:
"I enjoyed the book. Here's a little more." Small amounts can add up, particularly when you have a growing readership.
If you publish once, a sale may be the right model.
If you publish repeatedly, a subscription can change the economics. Imagine a writer publishing a new chapter every two weeks. Or a publisher releasing new titles throughout the year. Instead of asking readers to buy every piece individually, create a subscription.
Every title gets somewhere people can actually go.
If you've published one book, you want to know what that book made.
Books are often collaborative.
You don't have to be the only person selling your book.
Imprint isn't limited to novels.
You wrote something people can learn from, use, enjoy or keep. Turn it into a product instead of leaving it as a file.
Build a catalogue of titles with their own storefronts, reading experiences and monetisation options.
Turn long-form knowledge into something people can purchase, rent or subscribe to.
For research, reports and brand publications, Klairova Website or Lede may be the better fit. Imprint is designed primarily for titles that are meant to be sold.
From manuscript to published title.
Choose which chapters are free. Use them as the sample that lets people experience the work before purchasing.
If other people contributed to the book, define their revenue share. They can receive their percentage from the relevant earnings automatically.
If you want other creators to recommend your title, enable Plug and set the commission you are willing to pay.
Your book gets its own public storefront and reading experience.
Share the link.
The money generated by the title flows into your Klairova earnings.
A writer has spent a year writing a practical guide. The manuscript is finished. Instead of sending a PDF to people who transfer money manually, the writer publishes it on Imprint.
The writer can see exactly what that title earns. The manuscript has become a product.
The same work creates recurring revenue while it is being written and a standalone product when it is finished.
You wrote the book.
Your book needs an audience.
Someone discovers you on social media.
One link can take someone from discovering you to becoming a reader.
Your book generates money.
That money flows into your Klairova Wallet. Collaborator shares can also be handled from the relevant revenue. The publishing experience and the money generated by the publishing experience live inside the same ecosystem.
Sometimes the same knowledge works better in two formats.

A few things to know.
THE FREE CHAPTERS MATTER. Don't treat the free chapters as an afterthought. They're your opportunity to let someone experience the writing before asking them to buy. Choose chapters that make the reader want the next one. MAKE THE BUYING OPTIONS CLEAR. If you offer both purchase and rental, explain the difference.
Permanent access versus temporary access. Don't make readers guess. SUBSCRIPTIONS WORK BEST WITH CONTINUING VALUE. If you're publishing one finished book, a subscription may not be the right model. If you're publishing regularly, it can be. A subscription needs a reason for someone to keep paying. AGREE COLLABORATOR SHARES BEFORE PUBLISHING.
If you're working with an illustrator, co-author, editor or another contributor, settle the commercial arrangement before the book starts generating money. LET PEOPLE DISCOVER THE BOOK. A storefront is not distribution by itself. Put the title where your audience already is.
Your book needs readers to find it. PUBLISHING IS NOT THE SAME AS UPLOADING. Uploading a file is easy. Building something people can discover, understand, buy, read and return to is the real job.
Most writing ends as a file.
And let the money flow into the same business infrastructure as everything else you do on Klairova. You didn't write a book to leave it in a folder. Publish it.
