Estimated earnings
…

YouTube pays creators a share of the ad revenue their videos generate, measured as RPM, revenue per 1,000 views. Because RPM swings wildly by niche, audience country and time of year, the only honest estimate uses your own RPM. This free calculator takes your views and your RPM and projects monthly and yearly earnings in your currency.

How it works

1

Enter your monthly views

Use a typical month from YouTube Studio for a representative figure.

2

Add your RPM

Find your real RPM in YouTube Studio (Revenue tab). Using your own number keeps the estimate honest.

Frequently asked questions

How much does YouTube pay per 1,000 views?

It varies enormously, often $1 to $5 RPM, but finance or tech niches can be far higher and entertainment far lower. That is why this calculator uses your own RPM rather than a made-up average.

What is the difference between CPM and RPM?

CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 impressions; RPM is what you actually keep per 1,000 views after YouTube's share and unmonetised views. RPM is the realistic number for estimating your earnings.

Is ad revenue the only way to earn on YouTube?

No, and it is rarely the biggest. Memberships, sponsorships, your own products and affiliate links usually out-earn ads. On Klairova you can sell courses, run brand campaigns and get paid in 160+ currencies, all from one place.
