Everything you earn. In one place.

When your business makes money, you shouldn't have to open five platforms to find it. Course sales. Book sales. Event tickets. Memberships. Paid bookings. Campaign earnings. Plug commissions. They come into your Klairova Wallet with a clear record of what produced each payment.

The idea

Making money is one thing.

Knowing exactly where it is, what produced it and how much of it is actually yours is another. A course sale happens in one place. A book rental happens somewhere else.

  • An event ticket comes in.
  • A client pays an invoice.
  • Someone buys through your Plug recommendation.
  • A collaborator is owed their share.
  • Without a connected financial layer, you end up piecing everything together.
  • Payment processor.
  • Bank account.
  • Spreadsheet.
  • Email.
  • Another dashboard.

Wallet gives Klairova one financial layer for the money generated across your business. The products create the money. Wallet gives you one place to see it.

One Wallet for your Klairova business

Your business might make money in several different ways.

Wallet brings the earnings together.

Courses

Course enrolments and instalments.

Books

Book sales, rentals and reader tips.

Events

Ticket revenue.

Factions

Membership revenue.

Campaigns

Campaign earnings and creator payments.

Invoices

Payments from client work.

Bookings

Paid consultations and appointments.

Plug

Commission you earn from recommending another creator's product.

Collaborations

Your share of work you've created with other people. Instead of every product having its own money trail, the money comes back into the same financial layer.

See exactly what produced the money

A balance without context isn't very useful.

You need to know why the number changed. Wallet keeps the source attached to the money.

Course enrolment

Food Photography +₦33,750

Book rental

Harmattan Notebooks +₦960

Event ticket

Creator Summit +₦412,000

Plug commission

  • Another Creator's Course
  • +₦8,400
  • You don't have to guess which product made the money.
  • The transaction tells you.

Your money, in the currencies it was earned in

Your audience isn't necessarily in the same country as you.

  • A buyer might pay in naira.
  • Another in pounds.
  • Another in dollars.
  • Another in euros.

Wallet supports balances across currencies so you aren't forced to immediately convert every payment into one currency. The product source currently supports: 136 currencies for buyer payments. 107 currencies that can be held in Wallet. 107 currencies for payouts. That means a sale doesn't have to become a conversion simply because it arrived in a different currency.

Don't convert money you don't need to convert

If someone pays you in USD and you intend to spend that money in USD, there is little reason to force an immediate conversion to another currency. Wallet keeps balances by currency. Your money remains in the currency it arrived in until you decide what you want to do with it. The point isn't to make currency management complicated.

It's to stop unnecessary conversion from being forced on you.

Know what you actually made

The number that matters isn't always your gross sales.

You need to understand what is actually yours. When a transaction happens, applicable fees, Plug commissions and collaborator revenue shares are settled according to the transaction. The amount credited to your Wallet reflects your resulting share.

  • So instead of looking at:
  • "₦2,000,000 in sales"
  • and then trying to calculate everything that comes out of it,
  • you can look at the money that actually belongs to you.

Collaborators get their share

A lot of creator work isn't solo.

  • A course has a co-instructor.
  • A book has an illustrator.
  • A campaign has multiple creators.
  • A project has several contributors.

If you've agreed to split the revenue, Wallet handles the financial side of that arrangement. The collaborator's share is credited to their own Wallet. You don't have to collect everyone's money and manually send everyone's percentage.

Their share goes to them.

Get paid for recommending other people's work

Plug lets you recommend another creator's product.

  • If your recommendation produces a sale, you earn your agreed commission.
  • That commission appears in your Wallet.
  • So Wallet isn't only where money from things you created arrives.
  • It is also where money you earned by helping someone else sell arrives.

Brands can fund Campaigns

Wallet isn't only for creators.

Brands can put money into their Wallet to fund campaigns. That means the budget exists before the work begins. Creators can see that the campaign has been funded rather than relying on a promise that payment will come later. For brands, that makes campaign funding easier to manage. For creators, it makes the commercial relationship more credible.

From sale to payout

Wallet is where the money sits before it reaches your bank.

The journey is straightforward:

Someone pays

↓

The transaction is settled

Applicable fees and agreed shares are accounted for. ↓

Your share enters Wallet

The amount that belongs to you is credited to the appropriate currency balance.

↓

You request a payout

Move the money from Wallet to your connected payout account. ↓

Your bank receives it

Payouts handles the withdrawal.

How it works

Money in.

Money accounted for. Money out.

  1. Create something people can buy
    • Build a course.
    • Publish a book.
    • Create an event.
    • Run a membership.
    • Take a booking.
    • Complete client work.

Or recommend someone else's product through Plug.

  2. Someone pays

The customer, client or buyer completes the transaction.

  3. The money is settled

Applicable platform fees, commissions and collaborator shares are accounted for.

  4. Your balance is credited

Your share enters Wallet in the relevant currency.

  5. Check the source
    • See what produced the money.
    • Which product.
    • Which transaction.
    • Which date.
  6. Withdraw when you're ready

Use Payouts to move available funds to your connected bank account.

Three ways to use Wallet

See what your creator business actually made

  • A creator sells a course, a book and memberships.
  • Previously:
  • Course platform.
  • Book platform.
  • Community platform.
  • Bank statement.
  • Spreadsheet.
  • Now:
  • One Wallet.
  • Each transaction has a source.
  • The creator can look at the balance and understand where the money came from.

Get paid by an international audience

  • A creator in Nigeria sells a course to someone in the UK.
  • The buyer pays in pounds.
  • Another customer pays in dollars.
  • Another pays in naira.

The creator doesn't need to make every customer figure out how to pay in the creator's local currency. Wallet holds the resulting balances by currency and supports payouts across its supported currencies.

Run a campaign with multiple people getting paid

  • A brand funds a campaign.
  • Several creators participate.
  • Each person has agreed compensation.
  • The campaign money is available.
  • The creators complete the work.

The relevant payments and shares are handled through the Klairova financial layer rather than the brand manually coordinating multiple transfers.

Wallet + Campus

Campus creates the course.

A student pays. The course revenue enters Wallet. If the course is paid in instalments, subsequent payments can continue to generate the relevant earnings. If collaborators have a revenue share, their agreed portion is handled as part of the transaction. The course is the product. Wallet is where the money it generates goes.

Wallet + Imprint

Imprint creates the book.

  • Readers can buy it.
  • Rent it.
  • Tip the creator.
  • Subscribe where applicable.

The resulting earnings enter Wallet with the relevant source attached. One book can therefore generate several different revenue lines without creating several disconnected payment trails.

Wallet + Events

Create the event.

Sell the tickets. Ticket revenue enters Wallet. If the event has collaborators or other agreed revenue arrangements, those shares can be handled through the transaction. The event generates the money. Wallet gives you the financial record.

Wallet + Plug

Someone else's product doesn't have to mean someone else's revenue opportunity.

  • Recommend their course.
  • Recommend their book.
  • Recommend their event.

If someone buys through your recommendation, you earn the commission you've agreed with the product owner. That commission appears in your Wallet. Your audience can generate revenue for you even when you didn't create the product they bought.

Wallet + Invoice

You did the work.

  • You sent the invoice.
  • The client pays.
  • The resulting payment enters Wallet.
  • Now your client-service revenue sits alongside your product revenue.
  • Course sale.
  • Book sale.
  • Client payment.
  • Event ticket.
  • Plug commission.
  • All part of the same financial picture.

Wallet + Payouts

Wallet and Payouts do different jobs.

  • Wallet tells you:
  • What you have.
  • Where it came from.
  • Which currency it is in.
  • Payouts handles:
  • Where you want the money sent.
  • Your payout account.
  • The withdrawal.
  • Think of it as:

WALLET = money in your Klairova account. PAYOUTS = money moving out to your bank.

Wallet vs a bank account

Wallet is not trying to replace your bank.

It is the financial layer between the things you sell and the bank account where you ultimately use the money.

Before you start

A few things to know.

  • WALLET IS NOT THE SAME AS PAYOUTS.
  • Wallet holds and tracks your Klairova earnings.
  • Payouts gets that money into your bank.
  • SET UP YOUR PAYOUT ACCOUNT EARLY.

There is no reason to wait until you urgently need your money to add your bank details. KEEP YOUR CURRENCIES IN MIND. If you earn in multiple currencies, think about where you want to spend or withdraw each one before converting unnecessarily. LOOK AT NET EARNINGS, NOT JUST SALES. A ₦1,000,000 sale does not necessarily mean ₦1,000,000 belongs to you.

  • Fees and agreed revenue shares matter.
  • Wallet gives you the resulting balance.
  • USE THE TRANSACTION RECORD.
  • If you want to understand why your balance changed, look at the transaction.
  • The source should tell you what produced the money.
  • YOUR WALLET REFLECTS YOUR BUSINESS.
  • The more you build on Klairova, the more useful Wallet becomes.
  • More products.
  • More customers.
  • More revenue streams.
  • One financial layer.

Why Klairova

The creator economy has plenty of ways to make money.

  • The problem is that the money often ends up everywhere.
  • Your course platform has one number.
  • Your book platform has another.
  • Your event platform has another.
  • Your payment processor has another.
  • Your bank has another.
  • Your spreadsheet tries to reconcile all of them.
  • Klairova takes a different approach.
  • The things you build on Klairova can feed the same financial layer.
  • The course generates money.
  • The book generates money.
  • The event generates money.
  • The Faction generates money.
  • The campaign generates money.
  • The booking generates money.
  • Plug generates money.
  • Wallet brings the resulting earnings together.
  • And each line tells you what produced it.
  • Because knowing that you made money is useful.
  • Knowing exactly where it came from is better.
