Get paid without the payment chase.

  • Create the invoice.
  • Send one link.
  • Let your client pay.

Klairova puts the bill and the payment experience together, so your client doesn't have to download a document, find your bank details, retype an account number or figure out how to pay you. They open the invoice, choose how they want to pay and complete the payment. You see when it was opened, whether it has been paid and what is still outstanding.

And if they haven't paid, Klairova can handle the reminder.

The problem

An invoice shouldn't create more work for you.

  • You finish the work.
  • You send the invoice.
  • Then the waiting begins.
  • "Did you receive it?"

"Just following up on the invoice." "Any update from Finance?" "Can you confirm when payment will be made?" And sometimes you don't even know whether the problem is that they haven't seen the invoice, can't approve it, don't know how to pay it or simply haven't gotten around to it. A traditional invoice tells somebody: "You owe me money."

A Klairova invoice is designed to help them actually pay it.

The payment is part of the Invoice

Your client shouldn't have to leave the invoice to figure out how to pay you.

  • The invoice contains the payment experience.
  • They open it.
  • They see exactly what they are being billed for.
  • They see the amount due.
  • They choose an available payment method.
  • They pay.
  • That's it.
  • No downloading a PDF.
  • No copying bank details.
  • No retyping account numbers.
  • No searching through an email for a payment reference.
  • The fewer steps between "I owe this" and "I've paid this", the better.

Bill for the actual work

  • A creator's invoice might include:
  • Campaign fee.
  • Content production.
  • Additional revisions.
  • Usage rights.
  • Ad rights.
  • Licensing.
  • Consulting.
  • Retainers.
  • Events.
  • Services.
  • Products.
  • Multiple deliverables.
  • Your invoice should reflect what was actually agreed.
  • Add the line items, amounts, currency and payment terms.
  • Give the client a clear record of what they are paying for.
  • And make the payment amount impossible to misunderstand.

Get paid internationally

Your clients don't all live in the same country.

And they shouldn't all have to figure out international banking before they can pay you. Klairova lets clients pay in their own currency where supported, while you receive the money through your Klairova wallet. That makes the experience much simpler for both sides. You can work with clients around the world without turning every invoice into a conversation about:

  • "How do I send this?"
  • "Which account should I use?"
  • "What currency should I pay in?"
  • "Will my bank charge me?"
  • The client gets a familiar payment experience.
  • You get paid through Klairova.

Card or bank transfer

Different clients pay in different ways.

Some want to use a card. Some need to pay from a company bank account. Klairova supports the payment methods available for the invoice so the client can choose the option that works for them.

  • One invoice.
  • One payment experience.
  • Different ways to pay.

See what happened to the Invoice

"Unpaid" doesn't tell you enough.

  • Was it never delivered?
  • Did the client open it?
  • Did they open it three times?
  • Did someone in Finance receive it?
  • Did they forget?
  • Klairova gives you payment status visibility.
  • You can see whether an invoice has been sent, opened or paid.
  • That changes the conversation.
  • If it hasn't been opened, you may need to send it to the right person.
  • If it has been opened but remains unpaid, you know the client has seen it.
  • If it has been paid, you know the money is on its way into your Klairova wallet.
You're no longer guessing.

Let Klairova do the chasing

You shouldn't have to remember every invoice that is due.

  • Set the payment terms.
  • Set the reminder schedule.
  • Let Klairova send the reminders.
  • The client gets the nudge.
  • You don't have to write:
  • "Hi, just following up..."
  • for the fifth time.

And because the reminder is coming from the system, it doesn't have to feel like you are personally chasing somebody for money.

Your Invoice should look like your business

An invoice is part of your professional experience.

Use your business information and branding so the invoice represents the business receiving the money.

  • Your name.
  • Your business details.
  • Your logo.
  • Your registration and tax information where applicable.
  • Your payment terms.
  • Your line items.
  • Everything your client needs to understand the bill and pay it.

From Agreement to Invoice

An invoice shouldn't be disconnected from the work.

  • The Agreement establishes what both sides agreed to.
  • The work gets done.
  • The invoice asks for payment for that work.
  • Klairova connects these parts of the creator-business workflow.
  • So instead of:
  • Agreement in one place.
  • Work somewhere else.
  • Invoice in a document.
  • Payment in another system.
  • You can keep the commercial relationship connected inside Klairova.

From work to payment

The same applies to the work itself.

  • Your Workdeck can contain the work being delivered.
  • Your Agreement establishes the terms.
  • Your Invoice turns the agreed work into a bill.
  • Your Wallet receives the payment.
  • Your Payout account is where you ultimately take the money.
  • The invoice sits in the middle of that flow.
  • Work.
  • Agreement.
  • Invoice.
  • Payment.
  • Wallet.
  • Payout.

Who it is for

Creators

You did the work. Now bill for it professionally. Use Klairova to invoice brands and clients for campaigns, services, retainers, licensing, rights and other work.

Brands

Receive and manage invoices alongside the campaigns, agreements and creator relationships they belong to.

Publishers

Bill advertisers and commercial partners for placements, campaigns, sponsorships and other work with clear line items and terms.

Freelancers & professionals

If you sell your expertise, your time or your work, you can use Klairova to create and collect professional invoices.

What you can put on an Invoice

Campaign fees

Charge for the creator work agreed for a campaign.

Services

Bill for consulting, strategy, production, marketing, design, writing or other professional services.

Retainers

Invoice recurring work according to the agreed payment schedule.

Licensing

Charge for agreed licensing of your work.

Ad Rights

Bill separately for rights to run advertising through creator accounts where applicable.

Additional work

Additional revisions, deliverables or services can be clearly itemised instead of disappearing into the original fee.

Multiple line items

Put everything being billed into one clear invoice rather than making the client piece together several requests.

How it works

  1. Create your Invoice

Add the client, invoice details, line items, amounts, currency and payment terms.

  2. Bill for what was agreed

Connect the invoice to the commercial work it relates to where applicable. If the Agreement says ₦500,000 for the campaign and ₦300,000 for additional usage rights, the invoice should make those charges explicit.

  3. Set payment terms

Choose when the payment is due. The client should know exactly when payment is expected.

  4. Send the Invoice

Send the client the invoice. They receive a link to view the bill and pay.

  5. They open it

You can see that the invoice has been opened. No more wondering whether the client actually received it.

  6. They pay

The client pays using an available payment method.

  7. Klairova records the payment

The invoice status updates so you know what has happened.

  8. Money reaches your Wallet

The payment enters your Klairova wallet.

  9. Pay out

Move your available funds to your connected payout account according to your payout setup.

Three ways to use Invoice

A creator finishes a brand campaign

  • A creator completes a campaign involving:
  • 2 Reels.
  • 4 Stories.
  • 90 days of usage rights.
  • Additional ad rights.

Instead of sending four separate payment requests, the creator creates one invoice with each charge clearly listed. The brand sees exactly what it is paying for. The brand pays. The creator sees the invoice move from unpaid to paid. The money reaches the creator's Klairova wallet.

An international client

  • A creator works with a client outside their home country.
  • Instead of asking:
  • "Can you send an international bank transfer?"
  • the creator sends the Klairova invoice.
  • The client opens it.
  • They see the amount.

They pay using an available payment method in their own currency where supported. The creator receives the funds through Klairova. The commercial relationship doesn't have to become a banking problem.

The Invoice that is sitting unpaid

  • A creator sends an invoice with 14-day payment terms.
  • The client doesn't pay.
  • The creator doesn't have to remember to chase them manually.
  • The reminder goes out according to the configured schedule.
  • The creator can see the invoice status and knows whether it has been opened.
  • Instead of maintaining a spreadsheet of:
  • "Who owes me?"
  • the invoice itself tells you.

Invoice + Agreement

The Agreement says what both sides agreed.

  • The Invoice asks for the money.
  • These shouldn't be disconnected.
  • If the Agreement establishes:
  • Campaign fee: ₦1,000,000
  • Usage rights: ₦300,000
  • Payment terms: 14 days
  • the invoice can reflect the commercial terms that were agreed.
  • Your contract defines the obligation.
  • Your invoice requests the payment.

Invoice + Workdeck

Workdeck tracks the work.

Invoice bills for it. For work that is tracked or delivered through Klairova, the invoice can sit alongside the work rather than existing as an unrelated document. That makes the commercial record easier to understand:

  • What was agreed?
  • What was delivered?
  • What is being billed?
  • What has been paid?

Invoice + Wallet

The invoice is where the client pays.

The Wallet is where your Klairova earnings sit. That means the payment doesn't disappear into another payment system you have to reconcile manually.

The money arrives in your Klairova financial workflow.

Invoice + Payouts

Getting paid by a client and getting your money into your bank account are two different things.

  • Invoice handles the first.
  • Payouts handles the second.
  • Client pays.
  • Money enters your wallet.

You withdraw through your configured payout account.

Invoice + Rate Card

Your Rate Card tells a client what your work costs.

Your Invoice tells them what they owe for the work they've actually commissioned.

  • For example:
  • Rate Card:
  • Instagram Reel, ₦450,000
  • Ad rights, ₦200,000
  • Invoice:
  • 1 × Instagram Reel, ₦450,000
  • 90-day ad rights, ₦200,000
  • Total, ₦650,000

The rate card sets expectations. The invoice turns the agreed work into a bill.

Invoice + splits

When multiple people are entitled to money from a transaction, the invoice is still the bill presented to the client. Splits determine how the resulting revenue is distributed where the transaction supports it. You don't need to create separate invoices just because multiple collaborators are involved.

Things to know

Agree terms before you Invoice

Your invoice should reflect what was agreed. Don't use the invoice to introduce a completely different price or payment term after the work is complete.

Use clear line items

Don't send: "Campaign, ₦2,000,000." If the amount contains production, usage rights and ad rights, make those components visible.

Your client should know what they are paying for.

Include rights that cost money

Usage rights and ad rights are part of the commercial value of creator work. If they were agreed and chargeable, they should appear on the invoice.

Set the payment term up front

  • 7 days.
  • 14 days.
  • 30 days.
  • Whatever you agreed.
  • Make it explicit.

Don't wait until the due date to think about collection

Set the reminder workflow when you create the invoice. The system should do the remembering.

Watch the status

"Unpaid" and "never opened" are not the same problem. If the invoice hasn't been opened, find the right recipient. If it has been opened repeatedly, you know the client has seen it.

If you bill internationally, make payment easy

The more complicated the payment process is, the easier it is for a client to postpone it. Give international clients a payment experience they can actually use.

The commercial flow

Klairova connects the pieces around getting paid.

Rate Card

What your work costs.

Agreement

What both sides agreed.

Workdeck

What is being worked on or delivered.

Invoice

What the client owes.

Wallet

Where your Klairova earnings arrive.

Payouts

Where you take your money next. The invoice isn't an isolated document. It is part of the commercial infrastructure around your work.
