Know what you charge. Show what you charge.

Create a professional rate card for the work you sell. Set your prices by platform, deliverable, turnaround or package. Make what's included clear. Separate additional rights and services. Then give brands one link or PDF instead of typing the same prices into another DM.

The idea

"What's your rate?"

  • You shouldn't have to answer that question from scratch every time.
  • Your pricing should already exist somewhere a prospective client can see it.
  • A Reel should have a price.
  • A TikTok should have a price.
  • A YouTube integration should have a price.
  • A campaign package should have a price.
  • And when something isn't included, that should be clear too.
  • Rate Card gives your creator business a proper place for its pricing.
  • Build it once.
  • Keep it current.
  • Send it whenever someone wants to know what working with you costs.

Price the work, not just the post

There is rarely just one thing a brand is buying.

  • They might want:
  • One Instagram Reel.
  • Three Stories.
  • A TikTok.
  • A YouTube integration.
  • UGC content.
  • A campaign package.
  • A speaking appearance.
  • An event appearance.

Content creation without posting. Content plus usage rights. Each can have a different price. Rate Card lets you structure your pricing around the actual work you sell instead of forcing everything into one number.

Price by platform

Different platforms can have different rates.

  • Instagram.
  • TikTok.
  • YouTube.

And the other platforms you work on. Set the price that makes sense for each one.

Price by deliverable

Define exactly what the brand is buying.

  • Reel.
  • Story.
  • Carousel.
  • TikTok.
  • YouTube video.
  • UGC video.
  • Photography.
  • Written content.
  • Whatever you offer.

Give each deliverable its own price when that makes sense for your business.

Price by turnaround

A normal turnaround and a rush job don't have to cost the same.

If a brand needs the work tomorrow instead of next week, you can make that clear in your pricing. Give your normal and expedited work the commercial terms they deserve.

Create packages

Sometimes the best offer isn't a single deliverable.

Bundle the work. For example:

Starter

  • 1 Instagram Reel
  • 2 Stories
  • ₦450,000

Campaign

  • 2 Instagram Reels
  • 4 Stories
  • 1 TikTok
  • ₦900,000

Full campaign

  • 3 Instagram Reels
  • 6 Stories
  • 1 TikTok
  • Campaign usage
  • ₦1,500,000
  • The brand can see the options.

You don't have to build the same package from scratch every time someone asks.

Make the scope clear

Price is only one part of the deal.

  • What does the brand get for that price?
  • How many deliverables?
  • How many revisions?
  • What turnaround?
  • Does it include posting?
  • Does it include exclusivity?
  • Does it include usage rights?
  • Does it include paid advertising?

Rate Card gives you somewhere to make those things clear before the conversation becomes a negotiation about what either side thought was included.

Ad Rights are not the same as content creation

A brand paying you to create a video does not automatically mean the brand should be able to use that video as an advertisement forever. If a brand wants to take your content and use it for paid advertising, that is an additional commercial use.

  • Make that clear.
  • Price the content.
  • Price the additional rights.

Don't bundle valuable rights into a price simply because nobody thought to discuss them.

Your Rate Card is a sales tool

A rate card isn't just a list of numbers.

  • It helps a prospective client understand how you work.
  • They can see:
  • What you offer.
  • What each thing costs.
  • What the packages include.
  • What requires an additional fee.
  • What they can expect.
  • And how to take the conversation further.

The better the information, the less time you spend answering the same basic questions.

50 designs

Your pricing document is part of how a brand experiences your business.

So don't send a spreadsheet. Don't send a screenshot of your Notes app. Don't send an old Canva file with last year's prices. Choose from 50 Rate Card designs built to present creator pricing professionally. Pick the structure that fits your business.

  • Add your prices.
  • Add your terms.
  • Make it yours.

Send one link

Your Rate Card has a public URL.

  • Put it wherever brands can find you:
  • Your email signature.
  • Your website.
  • Your Link in Bio.
  • Your Media Kit.
  • Your portfolio.
  • Your pitch.
  • Your DMs.
  • Your proposals.
  • When your pricing changes, update the Rate Card.
  • The link stays the same.
  • You don't need to keep sending new files to everyone you've ever pitched.

Or send the PDF

Sometimes a brand wants a file.

  • Their marketing team needs to circulate it internally.
  • Someone wants to download it.
  • Procurement needs an attachment.
  • No problem.
  • Export your Rate Card as a branded PDF.

The live version and the PDF come from the same Rate Card, so you aren't maintaining two different pricing documents.

How it works

From your prices to one professional link.

  1. Add your pricing

Add the platforms, deliverables, services and packages you offer.

    Give each one its price.
  2. Define the terms
    • Make the scope clear.
    • Add what's included.
    • Add what's excluded.

Set turnaround information where relevant. Make additional services and rights clear.

  3. Add your packages

If you sell bundled campaigns or combinations of deliverables, create them as packages rather than explaining the same combination every time a brand asks.

  4. Choose your design

Choose from 50 Rate Card designs. Start with the structure that fits how you want to present your business.

  5. Publish

Your Rate Card gets a public URL. Now you have one place to send whenever a brand asks what you charge.

  6. Move from price to deal

The Rate Card establishes your pricing. When a brand wants to work with you, move the conversation into the rest of the commercial workflow.

    • Create the Brief.
    • Create the Agreement.
    • Create the Invoice.
    • Get paid.

Three ways to use Rate Card

WHEN A BRAND ASKS "WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?"

A brand sends you a DM asking how much you charge for an Instagram Reel. Instead of typing the answer, you send your Rate Card. They can see your Reel price, your packages, what's included and what costs extra. The conversation starts with the actual work instead of another round of basic questions.

When a brand wants more than one deliverable

A brand wants two Reels, four Stories and a TikTok.

  • You already have a campaign package covering that combination.
  • You send the Rate Card.
  • They can see the package price and what it includes.
  • No need to manually calculate the same combination every time.

When a brand wants additional usage

A brand likes your content and wants to use it as paid advertising.

Your Rate Card already separates the content from the additional advertising rights. The brand can see that usage has its own commercial cost. The conversation becomes: "Would you like to add the advertising rights?" instead of: "Wait, I thought you could use it anywhere."

Rate Card + Media Kit

They answer different questions.

  • Your Media Kit says:
  • Here is who I am.
  • Here is my audience.
  • Here is my reach.
  • Here is my engagement.

Here are the brands I've worked with.

Your Rate Card says: Here is what I charge. Together, they give a brand the information it needs to decide whether you are relevant and whether the work fits its budget.

Rate Card + Portfolio

The Rate Card shows the price.

The Portfolio shows the work. A brand can see what you charge and then immediately see the quality of work behind those prices. That makes the price easier to understand. The Rate Card doesn't need to become a giant portfolio. The Portfolio doesn't need to become a pricing document. Each does its job.

Rate Card + Brief

The Rate Card establishes the commercial starting point.

  • The Brief defines the work.
  • Once a brand knows what you charge, the next question becomes:
  • "What exactly are we making?"
  • That's where Brief comes in.
  • Define the objectives.
  • Deliverables.
  • Requirements.
  • Timeline.
  • And everything else the creator needs to know before doing the work.

Rate Card + Agreement

The Rate Card says what your normal pricing looks like.

The Agreement records what both sides actually agreed to for this particular job. Once the scope and price are settled, formalise the arrangement instead of leaving the deal scattered across email and messages.

Rate Card + Invoice

Once the work is agreed, create an Invoice.

The invoice turns the agreed amount into a payment request. The brand pays. The money goes into your Klairova Wallet. The pricing, agreement and payment don't have to live in three unrelated systems.

Before you publish

A few things to know.

YOUR RATE CARD IS YOUR NORMAL PRICING. Publishing a Rate Card does not mean every job has to use exactly the listed price. If a project has unusual requirements, you can still negotiate or create a custom quote. MAKE THE SCOPE CLEAR. A price without a scope creates room for misunderstanding. State what the brand gets for the price.

  • BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT COSTS EXTRA.
  • Rush delivery.
  • Additional revisions.
  • Exclusivity.
  • Usage rights.
  • Paid advertising.
  • Additional deliverables.
  • Don't leave valuable parts of the deal undefined.
  • DON'T TRY TO PUT EVERYTHING INTO ONE NUMBER.
  • If a brand wants several things, create a package.
  • If it wants something outside your normal offering, quote it separately.
  • KEEP IT CURRENT.
  • If your prices change, update your Rate Card.
  • The public link stays the same.

Why Klairova

Pricing is part of the infrastructure of a creator business.

  • But creators often handle it like a casual question.
  • A number typed into a DM.
  • A screenshot sent on WhatsApp.
  • A PDF sitting in an old folder.
  • A price remembered from six months ago.
  • Rate Card gives your pricing a proper home.
  • You decide what you sell.
  • You decide what it costs.
  • You decide what is included.
  • You decide what requires an additional fee.
  • Then you give brands one place to see it.
  • Your Media Kit shows your audience.
  • Your Portfolio shows your work.
  • Your Rate Card shows your prices.
  • Your Brief defines the work.
  • Your Agreement formalises the deal.
  • Your Invoice asks for the money.
  • Your Wallet receives it.
  • The Rate Card is the point where the commercial conversation starts.
