Nobody represents you without your say so.

  • A manager or agency wants to represent you.
  • You see who they are.
  • You see why they want to work with you.
  • You accept or decline.
  • Your answer is recorded.
  • No assumptions.
  • No silent additions to somebody's roster.
  • No "we manage this creator" when you never agreed to it.
  • Create your account

The problem

Representation should start with a yes.

  • But it often doesn't.
  • Somebody starts forwarding you briefs.
  • They introduce themselves as your manager.
  • A brand asks who handles your bookings.
  • Someone tells another person that you are on their roster.
  • And you are left wondering when exactly you agreed to any of it.
  • There was no clear request.
  • No clear acceptance.
  • No record.
  • Manager Requests creates that moment.
  • A manager asks.
  • You decide.
  • The decision is recorded.

What is a manager request?

It is a formal request from a manager or agency asking to represent you on Klairova.

  • The manager provides their details.
  • They explain why they want to work with you.
  • You review the request.
  • Then you decide.
  • Accept.
  • Or decline.
  • That is the whole point.

Representation should not happen because someone added your name to a spreadsheet.

It should happen because you said yes.

Who it is for

Creators

  • See every representation request in one place.
  • Know who is asking before you answer.
  • See pending requests first.
  • Accept the managers you want to work with.
  • Decline the ones you don't.
  • And keep the record of both decisions.

Managers and agencies

  • Ask properly.
  • Provide your company details.
  • Show the creator who you are.

Explain why you want to represent them. Build a roster from creators who actually agreed to be represented by you.

Not people who were simply added to a list.

What you see before you answer

ENOUGH TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION.

Who they are

  • Company name.
  • Logo.
  • Industry.
  • Website.

You should not have to search the internet just to figure out whether the person asking is actually a legitimate business.

Why they want to represent you

  • The manager sends a message explaining why they want to work with you.
  • Not just:
  • "We'd love to represent you."
  • Something specific.
  • Something you can actually evaluate.

When they asked

The request is dated. An old request that sat unanswered remains visible as exactly that.

A new request is a new request.

Pending requests first

Requests waiting for your decision are kept visible. They do not disappear underneath requests you already answered.

What you decided

Accepted and declined requests remain recorded. You can see what you decided and when you decided it. That matters when someone later claims a relationship you do not remember agreeing to.

How it works

FOUR STEPS.

ONE OF THEM IS YOURS ALONE.

  1. A manager sends a request

The manager or agency provides their company details and explains why they want to represent you.

  2. You read it
    • See who they are.
    • What they do.
    • Why they want you.

And when they sent the request.

  3. You accept or decline

You make the decision. Nobody else can accept representation on your behalf. A request can only be answered once.

  4. The decision takes effect

Accepting puts you on the manager or agency's roster inside Klairova. Declining changes nothing. Your decision remains recorded.

What happens when you accept?

The manager can represent you inside Klairova.

They can work on your behalf within the parts of the platform where representation applies. Your acceptance creates the relationship. But it does not replace the commercial agreement between you. Representation and the terms of representation are different things.

  • If there is a commission.
  • A term.
  • Exclusivity.
  • Or other obligations.
  • Those belong in the Agreement.

What happens when you decline?

Nothing happens.

  • You remain independent.
  • The manager does not become your representative.
  • The request stays in your record as declined.
  • And you do not have to explain yourself.
  • A decline is a decision.
  • It does not need a justification.

Three ways it gets used

Checking somebody out first

An agency finds a creator whose work it likes. It sends a representation request. The creator sees the agency name, industry, website and message explaining why they want to work together. They can review the agency before making a decision.

No guessing. No vague DM. A proper request with enough information to consider.

Saying no without the awkward conversation

  • A manager approaches a creator who isn't interested.
  • The creator doesn't want the representation.
  • But they also don't want to have an uncomfortable conversation explaining why.
  • They decline the request.
  • Done.
  • No call required.
  • No paragraph required.
  • No ghosting required.

Building a real roster

An agency wants to tell a brand which creators it represents. The difference matters. A creator who was added to a spreadsheet is not necessarily represented by the agency. A creator who received a request and accepted it is. Manager Requests gives the agency a roster built from explicit creator decisions.

Manager Requests + Agreement

Accepting a representation request is not the same thing as signing the commercial terms.

  • The request establishes:
  • You asked.
  • I accepted.
  • The Agreement establishes:
  • What does that representation actually mean?
  • Commission.
  • Term.
  • Exclusivity.
  • Responsibilities.
  • Other terms.
  • Get the representation accepted.
  • Then put the actual relationship in an Agreement.
  • Explore Agreement

Manager Requests + Workspaces

Managers and agencies need somewhere to do the work once creators have agreed to representation. Workspaces give the agency side a place to manage its work and access across clients and creators. Manager Requests establishes who agreed to be represented. Workspaces gives the agency somewhere to operate.

Manager Requests + Payouts

Representation should not mean giving someone control of your money.

Your earnings remain yours. Your money flows into your own wallet and out through your configured payout account. The manager can represent you without sitting between you and your money.

Explore Payouts

Manager Requests + Portfolio

A creator's portfolio is often how the relationship starts.

  • The manager sees the work.
  • They see the creator.
  • They decide they want to represent them.
  • Manager Requests gives that interest a proper next step.
  • Instead of:
  • "I'd love to manage you."
  • The manager can actually ask.

Manager Requests vs adding creators to a roster

Things to know

ONLY YOU CAN ACCEPT A REQUEST.

Nobody else can accept representation on your behalf. A request sent to you requires your response. ACCEPTING IS NOT A CONTRACT. Accepting a representation request establishes the representation relationship inside Klairova. It does not define commission, term, exclusivity or other commercial obligations.

  • Put those in an Agreement.
  • DECLINING DOES NOT REQUIRE AN EXPLANATION.
  • You can decline a request without explaining why.
  • The manager gets the answer.
  • You keep your decision.
  • THE DECISION IS RECORDED.
  • Accepted and declined requests retain their dates.

That makes the relationship easier to establish later if there is ever a question about when representation began. YOUR MONEY IS STILL YOUR MONEY. A manager representing you does not mean your earnings have to pass through them. Your money lands in your own wallet and leaves through your own payout account.

READ THE MESSAGE. The company name and logo are useful. But the message matters too. A manager who can explain specifically why they want to represent you has given you something useful to evaluate. REPRESENTATION SHOULD BE MUTUAL. A manager deciding they want you is only half of the relationship.

You deciding you want them is the other half.

FAQ

What is Manager Requests?

Manager Requests lets managers and agencies formally ask creators to accept representation through Klairova.

Can a manager represent me without my approval?

No. The creator must accept the representation request.

Who can accept a request?

Only the creator who received the request can accept or decline it.

What information does a manager provide?

The request includes the manager or agency's company information and a message explaining why they want to represent the creator.

Can I see who is asking before I decide?

Yes. You can see information such as the company name, logo, industry, website and their message.

Can I decline a request?

Yes. You can decline a representation request without providing an explanation.

Can I see requests I have already answered?

Yes. Accepted and declined requests remain recorded with their decision dates.

Does accepting a request mean I have signed a contract?

No. Accepting establishes representation inside Klairova. Commission, term, exclusivity and other commercial terms belong in an Agreement.

Can a manager take a commission just because I accepted?

Not automatically. Any commission arrangement should be defined in the relevant Agreement.

Does a manager control my money?

No. Your earnings arrive in your own wallet and leave through your configured payout account.

What happens after I accept?

The manager or agency can represent you inside Klairova and work on your behalf where representation applies.

What happens if I decline?

Nothing changes. You remain independent and the request is recorded as declined.

Can I accept a request later?

A request is answered once. If the relationship changes later, a new request can be made where applicable.

Can an agency build a roster through Manager Requests?

Yes. The agency can build its roster from creators who explicitly accepted its representation requests.

Why is this better than an agency just adding me to its roster?

Because being listed and agreeing to representation are not the same thing. Manager Requests creates an explicit decision from the creator.

Can managers use this for existing representation relationships?

The feature is designed around making representation explicit through a request and acceptance. Existing relationships may need to be handled according to their actual circumstances and agreements.

Do I need an Agreement after accepting?

If the representation involves commercial terms such as commission, term or exclusivity, those terms should be documented in an Agreement.

Can I have more than one manager?

Whether multiple representation relationships are appropriate depends on the agreements and terms involved. Manager Requests itself establishes the creator's decision to accept a particular representation request.
